911 Dispatchers play a crucial role in connecting individuals to appropriate behavioral health services, such as crisis hotlines and mental healthcare providers when it is appropriate and safe to do so.
Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) certified Dispatchers are also better able to provide first responders essential information to ensure a safer and more effective response.
